This Summer, Stomping Ground organised two family play events that took place in a lovely green space on the edge of Penrith, it was free for families to attend due to funding from Penrith Town Council and The National Lottery Community Fund. At least 150 adults and children came down to enjoy building dens, creating clay creatures, making paints, basic woodworking, playing in our mud kitchen and bubble fun.
We were also joined by BlueJam Arts, a community music project who have been delivering in the area for 20 years. They brought lots of different instruments and created a relaxed festival atmosphere for everyone to enjoy in the sunshine!
