- We are a Community Interest Company – CIC – this means our profits belong to Stomping Ground and are not creamed off by shareholders or extravagant directors. We put those profits towards match funding projects which fit with our values in targeted communities.
- We can set up comfortable and welcoming spaces in woodlands, parks, community halls and on common land. We specialise in delivering in community spaces that are accessible even after we leave, allowing for the opportunity to continue to connect to that natural space.
- We provide an inclusive, friendly and often unique environment to deliver creative activities with guidance and encouragement.
- Our events and workshops are tailored to the community we are working with. This means we love hearing about the different needs of your community, so get in touch.
- Collaborating is very important to us, we do this with local community groups, other practitioners and third sector organisations who share our values.
- We have 50 years of collective experience in delivering workshops inside and outside, in various settings, with a whole range of communities and needs.
- We have specialist experience in ‘drop-in’ and ‘pop-up’ workshops which can be used to engage communities in upcoming events or as a community consultation tool.
- We work at reducing barriers to participation for under-served communities and have training and experience in working with neurodiverse populations or people facing challenging life circumstances.
- Our activities are fully risk assessed, public liability insured, DBS checked, and first aid covered. All of our directors are qualified Level 3 Forest School leaders, and many of our members are too.
